Reventy.pl offers a new kind of event search engine—from local and small festivals and fairs to large concerts and trade shows with admission fees. Events are displayed on a map and in a list, all in one place, making them easy to find.
Why we do this
Existing ticket-selling websites primarily cater to commercial events. Local and free events—festivals, fairs, rallies, and concerts in small clubs—are left out of these platforms and take place without much publicity. This website was created so that such events can be found just as easily as others.
Who is behind it
The website was created on the initiative of Szymon Sadowski, with the help of people who had encountered the same problem—the lack of a place where they could find out what was happening in the area. Work on developing the website is ongoing, and the ultimate goal is for it to also include ticket sales.
How we make money
The website is currently funded by the creator’s own resources. The only sources of revenue are paid event promotions, which organizers purchase voluntarily, and advertisements; all other aspects of the website are free to use. Ultimately, organizers will be able to sell tickets through the website, and the website will charge a commission on those sales, which is intended to be the primary source of funding. Until this feature is launched, no commission is charged.
